PERU, FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE JUNGLE
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Meeting at the airport in Lima and transfer to guesthouse in Barranco and lively bohemian and lively neighborhood.
Accommodation: family home or 3 * hotel.
Day 2 : Cultural Tour of Lima, to explore the colonial part
of the city. In the afternoon departure by plane to Juliaca.
Transfer to Puno and accommodation in a family home of musicians very loyal to the Inca traditions.
Accommodation: family home (rustic comfort).
Day 3 : Sailing in Lake Titicaca and visit the island of Taquile . Lunch in the island and return to Puno in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 4 : Travel to Cusco by bus. During the trip, visit sites of Raqchi and Andahuaylillas .

Day 5 : Visit the city of Cusco and the four Inca ruins that are around.

Day 6 : Visit to Pisac in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Night in Calca family home.
Accommodation: family home or 3 * hotel.
Day 7 : Visit to Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo. Train to Aguas Calientes and overnight stay at chosen accommodation.

Day 8 : Visit to Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco and overnight stay the hotel.

Day 9 : Flight to Iquitos , with connection in Lima. Overnight stay.

Day 10 : Day tour through the jungle on a traditional wood boat “Selva Viva” along the Amazonas, cruise organized by the NGO Latitud Sur. The program shall vary according to the season. The activities include: observation of the communities of birds, monkeys, pink dolphins, fishing and visiting the native communities that benefit from the help of Latitud Sur.
Accommodation: on board (basic comfort).
Day 11-13 : Continue de cruise along the Amazonas. The meals and accommodation on board the “Selva Viva”. Return on the 14th to Iquitos and accommodation at your hotel.
Accommodation: 3 star hotel or standard.
Day 14 : Departure to Lima. The rest of the day is free and then accommodation.
Accommodation: host family or 3 star hotel.
Day 15 : Transportation to the airport to take departure flight to home city.
